THE GLENLIVET BECOMES SUPPORTING PARTNER OF RBC PGA SCRAMBLE PRESENTED BY THE LINCOLN MOTOR COMPANY
The RBC PGA Scramble of Canada presented by The Lincoln Motor Company has landed a new supporting partner.
The Glenlivet has come aboard as proud supporting partner of Canada’s most talked about amateur national series of golf events. Canada’s best-selling Single Malt Scotch Whisky will sponsor the newly created WildCard promotion where one team will win a chance to compete in the National Final of the RBC PGA Scramble presented by The Lincoln Motor Company at Cabot Links in October.

The 20 teams participating at Cabot Links—which are comprised of four amateurs and a PGA of Canada professional—all made it through local and regional qualifying events.
The 2019 edition of RBC PGA Scramble presented by The Lincoln Motor Company looks to see more than 10,000 golfers from across the country participate in the series of local and regional events this summer.

The RBC PGA Scramble presented by The Lincoln Motor Company National Final at Cabot Links takes place Oct. 5-9. For those golfers who qualify, the national final promises to be the golf trip of a lifetime. The 54-hole championship at one of Canada’s premier golf venues will be part of a larger festival of special events, which includes prizing, activations and a chance to interact with celebrities.

RBC PGA SCRAMBLE RETURNS TO CABOT LINKS FOR A THIRD TOUR
The world-renowned Cabot Links and Cabot Cliffs Golf Course will host the RBC PGA Scramble presented by The Lincoln Motor Company National Final for the third consecutive year in 2019.
From October 5-9, golfers from coast-to-coast will be treated to a legendary golf experience for the scramble’s National Final.
“In 2017 and 2018, the RBC PGA Scramble of Canada presented by The Lincoln Motor Company National Final hosted at Cabot Links was a huge success, with participants from all over Canada enjoying the golf trip-of-a-lifetime,” said PGA of Canada President Mark Patterson. “This year we’re thrilled to share the world-class experience of Cabot Links and Cabot Cliffs with even more Canadian golfers.”
In 2019, the RBC PGA Scramble presented by The Lincoln Motor Company National Final will once again feature 20 teams—comprised of four amateurs and one PGA of Canada professional—playing in a 54-hole Ambrose-style format.

Located in Inverness, Nova Scotia Cabot Links is Canada’s first and only authentic links golf resort. Nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the picturesque town of Inverness, the Cabot Links course represents a dramatic departure from the typical golf excursion.
With six holes playing directly alongside the water and every hole offering an ocean view, Cabot Links is where traditional links-land golf comes to life against the spectacular Nova Scotia landscape.
The Cabot Cliffs course, designed by the decorated team of Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, is the newest addition to Cabot. Exquisitely carved out of the breathtaking Cape Breton landscape, with postcard-worthy panoramas vying for your attention and every hole calling out to the sea, it is links-land golf at its best.
The two courses ranked No. 1 and No. 4 respectively Cabot Cliffs ranked No. 1, while Cabot Links ranked No. 4 on SCOREGolf’s 2018 Best Golf Courses in Canada list. Cabot Cliffs also debuted 19th on the World’s Top 100 Courses list by Golf Digest.

The RBC PGA Scramble presented by The Lincoln Motor Company National Final is as much about the off-course activities as the on-course. In addition to the three rounds of golf, participants will be treated to a number of special events, prizes, meals, activations and much more.
In 2018, Canadian Golf Hall of Fame member and golf media personality Bob Weeks was on site during championship week to handle emcee duties at the opening ceremonies and to act as honorary starter for the first round at Cabot Links. Canadian sports telecaster Daren Millard was also in attendance as honorary starter for the final round and as emcee for the championship’s final ceremonies.
In addition to the opening ceremonies, participants in the national final were also treated to two RBC dinners at the Panorama restaurant, as well as two receptions by The Lincoln Motor Company and a closing ceremonies event.
The 2018 RBC PGA Scramble presented by The Lincoln Motor Company National Final was won by the narrowest of margins. Fox Meadow Golf Course in Stratford, P.E.I., finished the 54-hole national championship at the world-famous Cabot Links with a score of 53-under-par, a mere 0.1 better than the team from Ontario’s Whistle Bear Golf Club.
“What an absolutely amazing experience this entire week has been,” said the Fox Meadow team. “Obviously winning the national championship is very special, but the experience has been much more than that for us—it’s been a journey that we will remember for the rest of our lives.”
